Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Carlisle, PA at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, documenting care, supervising discipline-specific services, and participating in student education and professional development. The role requires adherence to professional codes of conduct, safety policies, and clinic guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Pennsylvania state physical therapist license required to start the assignment.
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required (client-specific requirement).
• BLS certification may be required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Maintain professional licensure in good standing and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with functional treatment programs focused on return to community activities.
• Experience completing documentation including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
• Prior experience participating in student education or precepting.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: MWTh 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM (10-hour shifts), T/F 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM with some flexibility.
• Duration: 13-week assignment with option to extend.
• Location: Outpatient clinic in Carlisle, PA. Candidate may be required to follow clinic float policies as needed.
