Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - CRNA - NYP-Westchester

Overview Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) at NewYork‑Presbyterian/Westchester Hospital provide patient‑centered anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures, including cardiac, vascular, neurosurgery, pediatrics, obstetrics, and diagnostic interventions. CRNAs administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled and emergency cases, utilizing advanced technology to achieve the highest surgical success rates and the nation’s lowest mortality rate. Responsibilities Perform anesthesia techniques across multiple specialties, including regional and nerve‑block procedures. Provide anesthesia care for both routine and emergency surgical, obstetric, and diagnostic events. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and peri‑operative staff to optimize patient safety. Manage anesthesia records, monitor patient status, and respond to peri‑operative complications. Participate in shared clinical decision‑making and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree. Current NewYorkState RN license (or willingness to obtain). BCLS (Basic Cardiopulmonary Life Support) certification. Benefits & Compensation Salary range: $247,450–$290,000 per year. Flexible shift scheduling that supports a healthy work‑life balance and a varied, balanced caseload. On‑site presence is required for all positions; employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. No travel expenses will be reimbursed.
