Job Description
Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Schedule

2-10 hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) and 2-8 hour shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) totaling 36 hours per week.

Assignment Details

Contract duration: unspecified, maximum of 7 days requested time off (RTO) allowed per contract. 2-3 weekends required per contract.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience; first-time travelers are accepted.
• Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics.
• Certifications required: BLS and ACLS.
• ERCP experience required, with knowledge of ERCP with Spy Glass, Bronchoscopy, EBUS Procedures, Colonoscopy, and Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD).
• Unit systems utilized: Pyxis, Epic.
• Scrub color: Navy Blue.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the endoscopy lab.
• Assist with endoscopic procedures and interventions.
• Monitor patient vitals and prepare patients for procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care.

Compliance / Notes

Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time, the start date will be pushed back 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it; if two major holidays fall, the traveler is expected to work both; if three major holidays fall, the traveler will work two of the holidays. Major holidays include New Year's Eve and Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, and Christmas Eve and Day.
