This Level 1 Trauma Center provides comprehensive surgical services with established anesthesia protocols designed to support quality patient care delivery. The facility operates with a medical direction model utilizing 30 MDs and 30 CRNAs/CAAs to manage diverse surgical specialties. The hospital maintains modern anesthesia capabilities while serving patients requiring advanced trauma care and multiple surgical disciplines.

Springfield features diverse attractions including Fantastic Caverns, the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium, and Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. Visitors can explore natural formations through cave tours and walking experiences, while the area also offers entertainment venues like Hammons Field and Dickerson Park Zoo. The Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant will provide comprehensive anesthesia services during Monday through Friday shifts working 5x8 hour schedules. The clinician will manage diverse surgical cases including trauma, general surgery, neurosurgical, cesarean sections, ENT, orthopedic, and ophthalmology procedures under medical direction. The position excludes cardiac cases which remain optional and operates with no call requirements in a collaborative team environment.
