Non-exempt- 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) Summary Assists with daily accounting operations, including reconciliations, cash management, tax compliance, fixed asset tracking, and other financial reporting duties. This role provides hands-on experience across multiple accounting functions while supporting the accounting team with monthly processes and special projects. Description Responsibilities: Shadow/cross-train the various roles in the accounting department. Assist with Bank Reconciliations Assist with online bank deposits Filing/Scanning Rental Machines/Fixed Assets Assist with Sales Tax Assist with Property Tax Assist with SC Business Licenses Monthly Reconciliation of Related Companies duties such as: Entering Deposits and Journal Entries Assist the Controller and Assistant Controller or other departments with special projects as needed. Other monthly duties assigned by Controller and Assistant Controller to include: Positive Pay Uploads DLL Payment Allocation 1099's Xpress Pay Post Office Coin-Op Transactions To Qualify for Staff Accountant I: Backup for Accounts Payable Requirements: We prefer our candidates to be enrolled in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance courses with the intent to complete an Associates or Bachelor's degree.
