Inside Solutions Advisor – Cox Business Company: Cox Communications, Inc. Job Family: Group Sales; Job Profile: Inside Solutions Advisor. Compensation: Hourly pay rate $17.40 - $26.06/hour, with potential annual incentive/commission target of $28,340.00. Travel: 5% of the time. Shift: Day. Responsibilities Engage with existing customers to renew contracts, identify new revenue opportunities and upsell solutions such as telephony, data, wireless, video and more. Develop strategic account plans to maintain and grow Cox Business’s presence within existing accounts. Troubleshoot and resolve service, pricing and technical issues by understanding customers’ unique communication needs. Collaborate with sales engineers and support teams to provide tailored solutions and address service or installation concerns. Create compelling proposals and presentations for additional products and services. Negotiate pricing, promotions and contract terms to meet client needs while driving business results. Partner with internal teams to solve problems and ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the sales cycle. Share customer feedback with the marketing team to refine strategies and enhance offerings. Qualifications Minimum 7 years of experience in a related field, or a high school diploma/GED with 5 years of experience; or an associate degree, bachelor’s degree or certification in a related discipline with 3 years of work experience. Sales experience with a proven track record of meeting quotas. Proficiency with computers and common business software. Preferred: 1 year of experience in the communications industry or with a major communications equipment vendor. Preferred: 1 year of B2B field sales experience, including meeting quotas and cold calling. Preferred: Knowledge of local market and contacts.
