Champlain Smiles is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our modern, private, fee-for-service practice located in beautiful Plattsburgh, NY. This full-time position offers a balanced work schedule focused on delivering personalized, high-quality dental care in a welcoming environment. Experience is not required, but a valid New York State Registered Dental Hygienist license is essential.
Led by Dr. Athena Graves, a SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine graduate with over 25 years of private practice experience, Champlain Smiles has been serving the Plattsburgh community since 2006. Our practice combines general dentistry with orthodontics, endodontics, and periodontics, all within a modern, six-chair office built in 2013. Located on the picturesque shores of Lake Champlain and near the Adirondack and Green Mountains, Plattsburgh offers an affordable, vibrant lifestyle with abundant outdoor activities, friendly people, and a stress-free atmosphere. Relocation and short-term housing assistance are available for the right candidate.

$60~$65 per hour

Job Description

Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services, including cleanings, scaling, and patient education
Assist in periodontal, orthodontic, and endodontic procedures as needed
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records following HIPAA guidelines
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure excellent patient outcomes and comfort
Uphold sterilization and infection control protocols consistently
Support a patient-centered approach in a fee-for-service model

Monday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Friday, Saturday, Sunday: Closed
