Regional Sales Manager

Job Description: Execute Regional Sales Strategy: Leverage your solar industry knowledge to execute effective sales strategies, maximizing volume and driving profitable growth across the territory. Build Strategic Relationships: Serve as the primary relationship manager for distributors, installers, and battery partners within the territory to drive growth and alignment. Deliver High-Impact Presentations: Develop and present creative, results-oriented sales and training presentations to key stakeholders. Communicate Value: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs to clearly communicate ConnectDER products' value proposition and ensure consistent messaging across all stakeholders. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Program Managers, Product Owners, and Marketing to provide product demonstrations, deliver training, and represent the company at industry events and trade shows. Analyze & Forecast: Monitor ongoing business trends to accurately forecast sales volumes and provide feedback on necessary product or process changes. Requirements: 3-5 years of solar market experience, preferably in Channel sales Technical understanding of the electrical grid and solar PV installation Expert knowledge of the Northeast solar/clean energy market Proven experience building sales plans and implementing sales strategies that drive results/profitability Ability to communicate ideas and concepts to influence business partners Skilled in business acumen, financial competency, negotiation, and problem-solving. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or other related field Experience training and presenting materials to audiences of various sizes Benefits: Health insurance plan - we cover 75% for employees, spouses, and children.
