Our client is a leading coffee manufacturing company specializing in roasting, packaging, and delivering high-quality coffee products for established brands and private label partners. We take pride in operational excellence, quality, and innovation.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support accounting functions and customer and vendor contract compliance. This is a key role that bridges finance, operations, and compliance. The Senior Accountant will be based in our satellite office in Boca Raton and will report to the Vice President of Finance & Operations.

\n

Position Overview

\n

\n

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the month-end close, assisting with inventory and cost accounting, and supporting contract compliance. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with operations, sales, and leadership teams.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

Accounting & Financial Management

\n

\n
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and support the month-end close process
\n
• Manage three-way match accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
\n
• Manage purchase order requisitions and deliverables, assuring accuracy and compliance
\n
• Prepare and support monthly financial statements and management reporting
\n
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
\n
• Support inventory and cost accounting, including tracking production costs, labor, and overhead allocations
\n
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax preparers, and financial institutions
\n

\n

Contract & Compliance Support

\n

\n
• Review, track, and support customer and vendor contract compliance, including financial terms, pricing, and deliverables
\n
• Monitor contract renewals, pricing adjustments, and performance obligations
\n
• Work closely with operations and sales to ensure financial and contractual obligations are aligned
\n
• Maintain organized contract documentation
\n
• Provide reports and insights to management regarding contract performance and financial impact
\n

Process Improvement & Systems

\n

\n
• Implement and maintain accounting best practices and internal controls
\n
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and automate financial reporting
\n
• Support ERP or accounting system improvements and integrations
\n
• Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures for all processes
\n

\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
\n
• Advanced Excel skills are required
\n
• 3–5 years of progressive, full-cycle accounting experience
\n
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting; experience with inventory and cost accounting in a manufacturing environment is preferred
\n
• Coffee, food manufacturing, or CPG industry experience is preferred
\n
• Experience managing customer or vendor contracts is a plus
\n
• Proficient in modular accounting software preferred (NetSuite experience a plus)
\n
• Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus
\n
