The Propane Service Manager is a key leadership role overseeing a small team responsible for propane delivery, service, and operations. This position requires strong expertise in propane industry regulations, fleet and inventory management, and technical training. The manager will coordinate scheduling using both proprietary software and manual systems while ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Regional travel is expected to support mixed vehicle fleets and manage liquid products inventory effectively. Must have CTEP certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage propane delivery and service operations across a regional area
• Oversee scheduling and coordination of technicians and training programs
• Lead fleet operations for a variety of propane delivery vehicles
• Maintain parts and liquid products inventories to meet operational needs
• Ensure compliance with up-to-date propane industry regulations
• Use proprietary software and manual systems for scheduling and inventory management
• Provide leadership and development for a small team (1-5 members)
• Facilitate customer service and resolve operational challenges

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the propane industry
• Certified in propane handling and safety
• Deep knowledge of current propane regulations and compliance standards
• Experience managing fleet operations and inventory control
• Proven leadership and training capabilities
• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer service focus

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Hazmat certification
