Manufacturing Technician Responsibilities The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for process monitoring and optimization, quality control, documentation and reporting, equipment maintenance, training and support, continuance improvement and compliance and safety. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is part of the Beckman Coulter, Life Sciences Flow Cytometry Team located in Indianapolis, IN and will be an on-site role. Key Responsibilities Apply analytical skills: Ability to analyze data and processes to identify areas or improvement and implement effective solutions. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with production equipment, hand tools, calibrated machinery, software systems, and relevant technologies. Essential Requirements Associates Degree with skilled trades, biomedical, laboratory or other skills 1+ year experience Must be able to follow approved work instructions with attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment. Experience with MS office products, Microsoft Excel, email Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements Will be traveling to Miami, FL to train for at least the first 15 to 20 weeks with expenses paid Must have a valid driver’s license Using material handling equipment including hoists, hoist inspections to move parts and skids, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, walking Preferred Experience Previous laboratory technician experience preferred, especially in an FDA/ISO regulated manufacturing environment Benefits Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
