Protective Services/Money Management Supervisor

Position Overview The Protective Service Supervisor (PSS) is responsible for the screening of Protective Service (PS) intakes and supervision and oversight of Protective Service Workers (PSW) who carry caseloads. The PSS is also responsible for managing crisis situations as needed and documenting supervisory input in PS client records. The PSS will manage the Money Management (MM) program, overseeing day‑to‑day coordination of the MM program and program staff. Position Responsibilities The Protective Services/Money Management position will provide oversight, direction, and support through one‑on‑one and group supervision as well as record reviews. It will assist the PS Director in organizing and managing weekly team meetings for PS, including training and case reviews as needed. The PSS will oversee the daily functioning of the MM program, attend weekly meetings, provide clinical guidance to meet consumer needs, give individual supervision for the MM coordinator and MM advocate, and organize/direct the MM advisory board meetings. Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor’s degree and five (5) years’ experience in Human Services required; Master’s preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience required, with an emphasis on community service or crisis management preferred. Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) preferred. Advanced level of assessment and supervisory skills required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with team members, consumers and their support systems, providers, and business partners. Demonstrates a strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment to consistently meeting responsibilities and deadlines. Ability to process information accurately and make appropriate decisions based on the specific situation and circumstances. Ability to work in multicultural environments with consumers who have diverse health and behavioral health needs required. Knowledge of community resources preferred. Proficient in the use of computer systems, including but not limited to Windows based software (Word, Excel, PPT, and Outlook). Hours Full Time 40 hours per week (Monday‑Friday). Fully in office for the first three (3) to five (5) months. Following a successful orientation period, the position may allow for a hybrid work model.
