A vibrant community of individuals passionate about the work they do! Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule rehab techs. Support daily therapy department processes and operations. Assist therapists with daily care and patient therapy as delegated. Communicate patient concerns and/or changes in condition to rehabilitation therapists. Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule. Enhance patient safety by providing assistance, care, and comfort. Suggest processes for improvement. Stay aware of data on patient satisfaction and safety. Know how specific department performance impacts the overall hospital financials. Make recommendations to supervisor on departmental equipment needs. Assist with rehabilitation technology applications and modalities as delegated by therapist. Qualifications BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum 6 years of experience or a specialist certification such as ATC, massage therapist, AS, BS, or MS degree.
