PBX Operator

This opportunity provides you the chance to develop valuable healthcare operations and communications experience in a fast-paced hospital environment while building skills in customer service, emergency response coordination, and multi-system call center operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming internal and external calls.
• Screen callers and provide basic information or assistance.
• Respond to emergency calls and announce overhead emergency codes.
• Dispatch security and communicate with Environmental Services (EVS) and Facilities.
• Monitor work orders, radio communications, and security/door alarm systems.
• Use hospital communication systems (Maintenance Connection, Everbridge, CSoft, and Linnell).
• Look up departments and contacts using the digital directory.
• Handle high call volumes and urgent situations while remaining calm and professional.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
