About the role As a USDS Lemon8 User Operation Leader, you will take ownership of strategic planning, operational execution, and business opportunity identification across complex ecosystem domains. You will act as the key operational driver who connects high-level organizational goals with day-to-day cross-functional execution. This role demands an analytical, deeply curious, and effective cross functional engagement leader who thrives in ambiguity, leverages rigorous data to solve unstructured problems, and drives organizational alignment at scale. Key Responsibilities Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution: Work closely with diverse Lemon8 key business stakeholders—including Creator Management, Ecosystem, Search, Data Science, and Product partners to input on strategic directions and drive the USDS Lemon8 team for excellent execution. Serve as the primary operational connector to align executive-level priorities and maintain momentum across high-stakes initiatives. Strategic Problem-Solving & Analytical Rigor: Apply first-principles thinking and strong logical reasoning to break down complex, ambiguous business problems. Formulate data-backed hypotheses, evaluate trade-offs, and design actionable frameworks to scale operational efficiency. Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish key business metrics, build tracking mechanisms, and derive actionable insights from massive datasets. Translate quantitative trends into concrete business strategies, feature improvements, and operational priorities. Business Opportunity Discovery: Maintain a proactive mindset by identifying untapped strategic levers, revenue paths, and engagement opportunities. Continuously research market shifts, competitive dynamics, and emerging digital trends to keep Lemon8 at the forefront of social media innovation. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in fast-growth consumer tech companies or high-growth operations environments. Project & People Leadership: Track record of leading large-scale, multi-track business initiatives from end-to-end. Ideally possesses experience managing, mentoring, and growing high-performing individual contributors while establishing best practices for project governance and operational discipline. Proven XFN Impact: Proven track record of influencing senior leadership and driving alignment across diverse, global teams without formal authority. Logical & Analytical Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to construct clear logic models, break down complex business environments, and solve non-standard problems under tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Data Mastery: Expert-level data literacy with hands-on experience utilizing data analytics frameworks, SQL, and business visualization tools to guide strategic roadmaps. Intellectual Curiosity: Hunger for new knowledge, quick adaptability to changing business landscapes, and a self-starter drive to initiate projects independently. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
