Job Title: Senior Technology Financial Analyst (Infrastructure & Connectivity)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technology Financial Analyst to lead the financial oversight and strategic planning for our enterprise connectivity and infrastructure portfolios. You will act as the financial "gatekeeper" for our wireline and wireless technology spend, ensuring that every dollar is budgeted, forecasted, and reconciled with precision.
This is a strategic role for a finance-minded professional who thrives on data and detail. You will partner with IT leadership and finance teams to manage annual planning cycles, identify cost-saving opportunities, and translate large datasets into executive-level insights. If you possess advanced Excel modeling skills and a proven ability to reconcile complex vendor billing while driving infrastructure cost-optimization, this is an excellent opportunity to manage a multi-million-dollar technology portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Budget Stewardship: Lead the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans for infrastructure and connectivity portfolios.
• Variance Management: Conduct monthly/quarterly financial reporting. Perform deep-dive variance analysis to explain budget-to-actual differences and present these insights to leadership.
• Strategic Insights: Analyze spending trends and carrier performance. Identify cost-savings opportunities, develop optimization recommendations, and translate technical consumption data into actionable business insights.

Expense & Vendor Management
• Invoicing & Reconciliation: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of infrastructure and connectivity expenses. Review, validate, and reconcile vendor invoices against contract pricing, resolving billing discrepancies through dispute management.
• Inventory Control: Partner with technical teams to manage the inventory of services, coordinating Moves, Adds, Changes, and Disconnects (MACD) to ensure cost alignment.
• Financial Integrity: Ensure all financial data is accurate within SAP and related ERP systems. Support internal audits, financial controls, and reporting governance.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience Baseline: 5+ years of experience in IT financial management, telecom/utility expense management, or general FP&A.
• Technical Mastery: Advanced-level proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas) and proven experience with SAP (or similar enterprise ERPs).
• Communication: Ability to present complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders, including IT directors and external vendors.

Preferred Attributes
• Strong knowledge of telecommunications/infrastructure contracting, carrier pricing structures, and recurring cost management.
• Experience developing dashboards and executive-level reporting to track KPIs and cost-optimization metrics.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, independent work environment.
