Job Title: Java Engineer, Product Integration (Mid-Level) Location: Dania Beach, FL (Onsite twice per month; relocation required by Day 1 if not local) Duration: 6+ Months Job type: W2 role on C2C Job Summary We are seeking a hands‑on Mid‑Level Java Engineer to join a growing Product Integration team supporting the evolution of travel and loyalty‑related products. This role focuses on designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining backend integration services and APIs that connect internal and external travel platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong Core Java development experience, a solid understanding of microservices architecture, and the ability to own projects end‑to‑end. This is a highly collaborative engineering environment where all team members, including leadership, actively contribute to coding and solution delivery. Required Qualifications 5–10 years of professional software development experience Strong hands‑on experience with Core Java backend development Experience building and supporting Java‑based microservices Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering best practices Experience developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining production applications Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Strong knowledge of unit testing, performance testing, and load testing Experience troubleshooting and supporting production systems Ability to work independently and take ownership of full project delivery Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working on loyalty, rewards, points, or travel‑related applications Experience integrating third‑party products and services Experience managing or supporting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Experience developing production‑grade applications in cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools and ability to validate generated code quality Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend integration services using Core Java Build scalable and reliable product integrations supporting travel and loyalty platforms Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code Develop unit tests with strong code coverage Perform load testing and performance optimization activities Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams Support ongoing enhancements and modernization initiatives Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders Participate in occasional overnight travel (up to 10%) Nice to Have Travel industry experience Loyalty program or rewards platform experience Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise End‑to‑end ownership of large‑scale application development projects #J-18808-Ljbffr Conch Technologies Inc
