Financial Analyst II

Financial AnalystOur client is a Fortune 500 financial and payments technology company, and leads the industry in innovation, scale and service. They are now looking to add to their team and are looking to hire a Financial Analyst. This role will be based out of Atlanta, GA in a hybrid position (100% onsite during training (6-8 weeks) then hybrid schedule - 3 days a week).Summary:Planning & Forecasting: Participate in corporate planning, budgeting, forecasting, annual and long-range planning in support of key operating segment(s), sales channel(s) and/or functional area(s).Reporting: Provides accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting and key business metrics to business and operating teams, gain key insights into trends with meaningful and actionable analyses. Contribute with the monthly accounting close & reporting process.Support finance's standing goal to continuously improve the quality, efficiency and value of financial information produced, via financial tools, operational efficiencies, and automation.Other duties as assigned: Additional training in relation to IT systems and software will also be provided to successful candidates where necessary.Responsibilities:Create Infrastructure / Buildout around Tech and Tech Dependent Wave InitiativesCommunicate with all initiative owners around actuals tracking (financially), and heavy assistance with KPI / Milestones trackingCreate reporting around variance analysis on a monthly or potentially weekly basisEssential Skills and Experience:Tertiary Degree in Finance/Commerce3+ years experience working in financial analysis, accounting, management consulting or similarStrong business acumen and commercial awarenessStrong desire to learn and grow professionallyCommitment to quality and attention to detailProactive approach to problem solving / process improvement, and ability to execute tasks effectively and manage competing priorities.Desirable Skills and Experience:A proven track record in financial analysis and modelingAbility to identify and understand the key drivers of business performanceStrong relationship, communication and influencing skills to work effectively with leadership and cross functional teamsSelf-driven, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate with team and top management is essential as well as good presentation skills.
