As a Security Officer Lobby Attendant in North Charleston, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access and badge activity, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. In this highly visible role, you will help to create a professional environment while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, supported by teamwork, care for people, and integrity in every interaction.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.41 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and check-out processes, issuing temporary credentials, and directing guests according to site protocols.
• Answer phones, greet arriving personnel, support lobby operations, and document incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual activity in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the reception area by following post orders, communicating with site contacts, and helping to deter unauthorized access through consistent front desk presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
