Investor Relations and Strategic Finance Analyst

The opportunityUnity (NYSE: U) is seeking a high-impact finance professional to join our Investor Relations & Strategic Finance team. In this role you will sit at the intersection of external communications and internal strategic analysis—helping the investment community understand Unity’s story while providing the executive team and Board with the financial insight needed to make critical decisions. This is a high-visibility individual contributor role. Based in New York, you will work directly with senior leadership on earnings, investor outreach, Board materials, and long-range planning. The ideal candidate brings strong financial modeling chops, crisp communication skills, and the judgment to operate in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.What you'll be doingInvestor RelationsAssist in the preparation and execution of quarterly earnings—drafting scripts, pressreleases, Q&A documents, and investor supplement materials in partnership withFinance and Legal.Coordinate and participate in non-deal roadshows (NDRs), investor conferences, andone-on-one meetings; help craft the narrative arc for each engagement.Build and maintain a detailed sell-side and buy-side investor targeting model; tracksentiment, ownership changes, and consensus estimates.Monitor and synthesize analyst reports, model updates, and investor feedback to provideactionable intelligence to senior leadership.Maintain and continuously improve investor-facing materials: investor presentations, the IR website, and supplemental data packages.Strategic Finance & Long-Range PlanningSupport the development of the annual operating plan and multi-year long-rangefinancial model, including revenue, margins, cash flow, and capital allocation scenarios.Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate strategic initiatives, newbusiness opportunities, and market expansion.Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and business unit finance teams to ensure consistentassumptions and a single source of truth for external guidance.Perform benchmarking and competitive financial analysis to contextualize Unity’sperformance against peers and inform strategic decisions.Help identify and frame KPIs and financial metrics that best communicate businessperformance internally and externally.Board & Executive CommunicationsPrepare and refine Board of Directors materials—financial packages, strategy updates,and ad hoc presentations—ensuring accuracy, clarity, and appropriate level of detailDraft talking points, briefing documents, and presentation content for the CFO and CEOfor investor and Board engagements.Coordinate across Finance, Legal, Corporate Communications, and the Executive team to ensure consistent messaging internally and externally.Support SEC disclosure processes in partnership with Legal, including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K filings, and proxy-related financial data.What we're looking forBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field from a top academic institutionAt least two (2) years of work experience in investor relations, investment banking, strategic finance, or corporate finance—ideally with exposure to public company IR.Exceptional financial modeling skills (Excel/Google Sheets); comfortable building modelsfrom scratch and pressure-testing assumptions.Comfort and expertise with AI toolsOutstanding written and verbal communication skills; able to distill complex financial andbusiness concepts into clear, compelling narratives for sophisticated audiences.Understanding of GAAP and non-GAAP financial metrics, and the ability to translatefinancial results into business context.Experience preparing materials for C-suite and Board audiences; high standards foraccuracy, design, and presentation.Prior experience in tech/gaming or a high-growth software company is preferred.Additional informationReports to: Head of Investor RelationsLocation: New YorkRelocation support is not available for this positionWork visa/immigration sponsorship is not available for this positionGross pay salary $95,000—$118,000 USDThis range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions).
