Registered Nurse Critical Care

Schedule

12-hour Night shifts; 1900-0730, 3 shifts per week.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• 2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU or Emergency Department experience.
• Experience with BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and drawing labs.
• Comfortable with calling own consults and conducting own codes.
• Preferred experience with pacer wires.
• KS RN or Compact RN License along with BLS, ACLS certifications.
• Must be willing to float to ICU and all inpatient units.
• Every other weekend required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a critical care setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in patient care.
