This travel position places you in a fast-paced environment within a Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center, where your expertise in computed tomography will support critical patient care and diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist - Interventional Radiology

• Perform technical procedures and assist in the clinical evaluation and care of patients
• Create diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and positivity
• Support teaching and continue professional development in line with evolving technology
• Conduct CT exams on trauma, emergency, outpatient, inpatient, and research patients
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures as per New York State Department of Health regulations

Requirements of the CT Technologist - Interventional Radiology

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or a limited permit to practice
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
• Entry-level experience acceptable; MIT Level assigned based on skills and experience
