About this roleLooking for an experienced concrete carpenter to join a project in Seymour, TX. This is a hands-on role for someone with at least 5 years of concrete and formwork experience - building and stripping forms, setting and tying rebar, placing and finishing concrete. Work is project-based at an outdoor construction site. You must be able to read drawings, measure and cut accurately, work long days when needed, and follow site safety rules. Per diem is provided for this assignment.What you'll doLay out, build and brace formwork for columns, walls, slabs and footings per drawingsSet, cut, bend and tie rebar to required placement and clearancesHandle concrete placement and pouring operations, including pump and hand placementPerform concrete finishing: screeding, bullfloating, troweling and surface texturingStrip and remove forms safely and prepare surfaces for follow tradesMaintain tools, equipment and work area; follow site safety and housekeeping rulesWhat we're looking for5+ years hands-on concrete carpentry and formwork experienceProven skill with form building, stripping, pouring and finishing concreteExperienced cutting, bending and tying rebar to layout specificationsAble to read and follow construction drawings and layout marksPhysically fit for repetitive lifting, standing and working in variable weatherReliable attendance, punctuality and good communication on siteQualificationsOSHA 10-hour construction card (preferred)Valid driver's license and reliable transportationProven concrete finishing and rebar experience (documentation or references)Ability to read basic construction drawings and layout plansComfortable communicating in English on the jobsiteWhat we offerPer diem provided for the assignmentSite-specific safety training and PPE providedOvertime opportunities when schedules requireProject-based steady work with clear daily tasksTravel support for out-of-area assignments when applicableReady to apply?Build your profile.
