Freight Broker

Job overview: Schneider is seeking a Freight Broker in Green Bay, WI to establish and grow relationships with carriers and source carrier capacity. The Freight Broker will also coach and mentor new freight brokers. Responsibilities: Identify, prospect for and generate new carriers. Sell load opportunities to new and existing carriers. Quote, negotiate prices and commit transportation services. Manage freight pickup, transit and drop-off to ensure excellent service. Work with sales reps and the network management team to provide short- and long-term solutions for carriers. Help new freight brokers grow their book of business. Skills and qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field. One plus years of sales experience preferred. Fluent in English and Spanish is a plus. Strong prospecting skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Able to take initiative. Excellent problem-solving skills. Pay and benefits: Uncapped commission. Medical, dental and vision insurance.
