• Office Equipment Available: Standard Emergency Department Equipment

• Support Staff Available: Emergency Medicine Physicians, APPs, Nursing Staff, Ancillary Services

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Active Virginia License or IMLC Eligible

• Board Certified ABEM

• Active DEA

• Current Emergency Medicine Credentials

• Emergency Medicine Experience

• Fellowship

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide emergency department coverage across Valley Health facilities as assigned

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergency medical conditions

• Manage trauma and critically ill patients

• Perform emergency procedures within scope of practice

• Coordinate care with specialists and inpatient teams

• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation

• Support patient care initiatives and quality standards
