Department: Transportation Location: Denver, CO Compensation: $37.50 - $49.50 / hour Wood Rodgers, a leading engineering consulting firm based in California, is hiring a roadway design engineer to join our Transportation Department. We are looking for someone interested in working within a fun, multi-discipline team who can be self-sufficient with project work. A day in the life as a Wood Rodgers' Engineer Design roadway system improvements and related transportation structures under the guidance of a Senior Engineer. Prepare plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates. Perform technical studies and prepare technical documents such as Project Reports. Develop appropriate preliminary concepts and layouts. Oversee and mentor entry level staff. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Minimum of 5 years’ experience on roadway design projects. Expert in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design related software. Experience using roadway design standards such as CDOT Design Manual and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Offers will be based on several factors, including experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, training, and location.
