Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality truck campers and travel trailers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling components according to specified instructions and ensuring all products meet stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, and gather necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

• Position parts and subassemblies using templates or by reading measurements accurately.

• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies securely.

• Verify specifications by measuring completed components for accuracy.

• Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications and notifying supervisors to obtain additional resources as needed.

• Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt of supplies.

• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently to accomplish job results.

• Document actions by completing production and quality forms and logging labor hours.

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in reading and using a measuring tape.

• Efficiency with hand tools and power tools.

• Ability to work full-time and overtime as needed.

• Willingness to work the 1st shift with potential start times at 5 am or 6 am.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Reliable transportation is required.

Work Environment

Work in a hot and humid environment exposed to fiberglass and foam within a lamination building. This facility assembles side walls, ceilings, and floors for campers and trailers. The role is based in a state-of-the-art production facility, a 141,000 square foot campus dedicated to manufacturing safe and high-quality products.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.90 - $16.90/hr.
