As a Security Officer Entry Patrol Driver in Columbia SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a government location where you will monitor entry points verify credentials and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and professional communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor access control points verify identification and/or authorization credentials and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Screen visitors vendors and/or deliveries maintain accurate entry and exit records and communicate access-related concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to observe unusual activity and report security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• A tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required in accordance with COLA DPSS and/or DHS requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
