Job Summary: The RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) delivers skilled nursing care to patients requiring frequent assessments and specialized monitoring. This role involves managing complex patient needs and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions, including cardiac and respiratory statuses.
• Administer IV medications, titrate drips, and perform other advanced procedures.
• Continuously monitor patients' vitals and report any critical changes promptly.
• Implement individualized care plans in coordination with healthcare providers.
• Educate patients and families on post-hospital care and lifestyle modifications.

Minimum 2 years of experience required. COVID Vaccine - Required. ACLS, BLS AHA Required. NIHSS Required. Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient. Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs. Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs. Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions. Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.
