Research Analyst - Top Secret

DescriptionXcelerate Solutions is seeking a Research Analyst, who will work on client site with a dynamic team supporting the FBI's National Name Check Program (NNCP). In this role, you will probe Name Check subject identifiers, use your critical and analytic skills to investigate case information, and prepare relevant information to author reports that are sent back to the requesting agency. In addition, you will use your collaborative skills to work among a team to construct Name Check products that will be utilized by Federal agencies prior to bestowing a privilege such as employment, immigration benefit, or access to a secured facility. Ultimately you will support the needs of federal agencies who use the FBI name check information to protect the United States (U.S.) from foreign and domestic threats to national security. Come join our award-winning organization and work with some of the most talented and brightest minds in the GovCon industry.Location:Winchester, VASecurity Clearance:Active Top SecretResponsibilities:Perform research to determine if records exist for the subject in question and search for possible alternate spellings and aliasesUse the client tracking and communication system to locate and access information in a variety of media, research documents that contain possible references, and discard all references not identifiable with the subjectReview and edit written documents generated by others, communicate, and work cooperatively among teamsPerform various administrative tasks as required to include creating written summaries, reports, and maintaining meticulous logs and recordsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree, or three (3) or more years of experience applying knowledge of administrative principles, practices, and techniquesProficient computer skills, including the ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Google Chrome; navigate multiple browser windows, and copy/paste to and from different applicationsPreferred Qualifications: Prior NNCP experienceAbout Xcelerate Solutions:Founded in 2009 and headquartered in McLean, VA, Xcelerate Solutions ( is one of America's fastest-growing companies.
