Senior Software Engineer (Java/Python)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java/Python) with 5-6+ years of experience to join our Investment Risk Technology team supporting Liquidity Risk Management (LRM) and Daily Risk Management (DRM) platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong Java/Python development expertise, AWS cloud experience, and the ability to partner directly with business, investment, and risk stakeholders to deliver scalable technology solutions. Strong communication skills, investment acumen, and experience with AI-assisted development are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and support LRM and DRM applications.
• Collaborate with business, risk, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex business and technical issues.
• Present technical solutions and recommendations to clients, stakeholders, and engineering teams.
• Leverage AI-assisted development and Vibe Coding practices to improve productivity and delivery quality.
• Contribute to CI/CD automation, resiliency, monitoring, and engineering best practices.
• Mentor team members and promote collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5-6+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java and Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, Step Functions, CloudWatch, and ECS etc.
• Experience with Git, pull requests, code reviews, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with business, risk, and technology stakeholders.
• Investment acumen and understanding of financial markets and risk management concepts are highly desirable.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or ChatGPT, and Vibe Coding practices is a plus.
