Under the guidance and supervision of the nurse supervisor, he/she shares responsibility for the total patient needs. As a member of the nursing team, the LPN performs a variety of technical and skilled patient care duties, many of which were acquired through nursing education and supervised on-the-job training and experiences. The LPN shares the responsibility of providing a safe and comfortable environment conducive to healing while delivering quality care. Assist a physician as needed to provide all care.

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent • Certificate Program

License, Certification, etc:

• Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Georgia
• BLS
• Completion of IV medication administration course and clinical skill check-off

Experience:


Minimum:

Preferred:

• One or more years working as an LPN within a clinic setting.
• Three or more years working in a clinic or hospital setting as an LPN
