Therapist - Physical Therapist

$2148.80/week -

Job Summary:

Provide specialized physical therapy services to acute care patients within a busy hospital setting. The therapist will assess, develop, and implement treatment plans to facilitate patient recovery and improve functional outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer therapeutic interventions to promote mobility, strength, and pain management.
  
  
• 
  Coordinate care with the healthcare team, including physicians and nurses, for optimal patient outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
  
  
• 
  Document clinical assessments, interventions, and progress accurately using Cerner charting.
  
  
• 
  Manage a diverse caseload, including ventilated patients and those with moderate to maximum assistance needs.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current Arizona state license in physical therapy.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 1 year of clinical experience in acute care settings.
  
  
• 
  BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate confidence in medical diagnosis and generalist skills.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work independently and efficiently handle multiple evaluations daily.
  
  
• 
  Must be comfortable floating across units or clinics as needed.
