Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) Opportunity

Cedar Park Med is hiring Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) for full-time and part-time opportunities in a long-term care / rehabilitation setting in Albany, New York. This opportunity is ideal for a PTA who is compassionate, team-oriented, and committed to helping residents improve mobility, function, and quality of life in a collaborative care environment.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Physical Therapy Assistant license
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under a physician's order and the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Assist with resident treatment sessions and therapy-related care
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
• Provide education to residents and their families
• Support treatment goals and help promote resident progress and function
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and New York State practice standards
