MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in providing exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients. This position is available for immediate start and offers a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatrics with various medical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including insulin and Cardizem drips.
• Monitor patient vitals and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records utilizing EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Shift Requirements

• Schedule: 3x12 hour night shifts.
• Required to work every other weekend, with some flexibility for every third weekend.
• Block schedule accommodations are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Willingness to submit RTO at the time of profile completion.

Patient Care Environment

The unit primarily cares for patients with diagnoses including, but not limited to, congestive heart failure (CHF), diabetes mellitus (DM), orthopedic conditions, chest pain (CP), pneumonia, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

This is a non-floating position, allowing RN to focus on their primary patient assignments.

Unit Systems and Equipment

• Experience with Pyxis medication management system is required.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system is preferred.

This role is situated within an acute care environment that promotes free parking and a supportive team atmosphere.

Scrub Attire

The designated scrub color is hunter green.
