Forklift OperatorOur client, Logistics and Warehousing is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations department supporting Shipping and Receiving. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and the drive to keep inventory accurate, which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Portage, INPay Range: $20.45/hourShift: 2nd Shift (M-F 4p-12a)What's the Job?Operate powered material handling equipment to load, unload, move, relocate, stack, and count product and materials.Check inbound and outbound products to ensure items are free of damage and infestation, and that product code dates are properly recorded.Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of product are loaded.Maintain accurate records and reports to support inventory accuracy and resolve variances as necessary.Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards, complete daily equipment inspections, and keep the facility's equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.What's Needed?Forklift operator certificate or successful completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.Ability to spend 80% of the shift operating powered material handling equipment.Basic familiarity with warehousing processes and the ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions.Ability to work the specified shift schedule (M-F 4p-12a) and support physical work requirements.What's in it for me?Work in a structured warehouse environment where safety and accuracy matter.Opportunity to build consistency and reliability by supporting daily shipping and receiving needs.Hands-on role operating powered equipment while following OSHA and MSDS requirements.Clear expectations for inventory accuracy through recordkeeping and variance reporting.Training and support through group coordination and lead direction.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
