Senior Helpers

Job Description

In Home Caregivers provide essential support to elderly individuals in their own homes, promoting independence and comfort. They assist with daily personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping while offering companionship and mobility support. Caregivers work autonomously with remote supervision and adapt to flexible schedules, often including weekends and holidays, to meet client needs. Travel between local client locations is required. A training program is available to help new caregivers succeed in this rewarding role.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance to elderly clients
Prepare meals according to client dietary needs
Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe environment
Support client mobility and transfers
Offer companionship and engage in meaningful communication
Communicate effectively with clients and remote supervisors

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in home caregiving
High school diploma or equivalent
CPR and First Aid certification
HCA, CNA, or NAR with Exemption credentials
Strong communication and time management skills
Empathy and problem-solving ability
Basic cooking skills
Physical stamina to support caregiving duties
