Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Echo Tech specializing in Interventional Radiology for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This role involves performing diagnostic echocardiograms on patients in a dynamic hospital environment. The position offers rewarding work with a leading healthcare staffing agency.

Key Responsibilities of the Echo Tech Interventional Radiology:

• Perform technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams.
• Coordinate activities with interrelated hospital departments, including scheduling exams and arranging patient transport.
• Assist cardiologist by preparing and measuring M-modes during examinations.
• Deliver, pick up, and distribute dictations timely.
• Respond to patient needs during exams and report changes to physicians or nurses in charge.
• Order Echo supplies and maintain cleanliness and readiness of equipment.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities across various hospital levels.
• Provide on-call coverage for echo emergency exams as required by department policy.
• Maintain quality control of equipment operations and examination quality.
• Stay updated on advances in Echocardiography and seek guidance for skill and knowledge enhancement.
• Assist with other cardiac procedures as needed.

Requirements of the Echo Tech Interventional Radiology:

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a patient care related two-year allied health education program.
• A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or eligible registration, or comparable national accreditation required.
• State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
• Two years of experience in echocardiograms preferred.
