Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown units at Cleveland Clinic. The role involves caring for a consistent patient population with opportunities to float to related departments as needed, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Review patient charts and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform clinical assessments to detect changes in conditions.
• Document patient responses and progress accurately using electronic health records systems.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing critical interventions as required.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety regulations, and certification requirements.
• Provide patient education and support to enhance recovery and well-being.

Qualifications:

• Hold a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in HANDAHA.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent permanent experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown nursing prior to travel.
• Certified in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS with active credentials.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment skills, including ECG rhythm recognition.
• Be willing to work at least every other holiday and flexible shift schedules.
