Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN – Day Shift Schedule Monday–Friday Start Time: 6:30 AM Floating: Required between departments and/or local locations within approximately 20 miles Primary Responsibilities Provide direct patient care using the nursing process Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individualized patient care Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols Monitor and document patient response to interventions Coordinate care with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team Follow established protocols and standards of care Provide patient and family education throughout the episode of care Identify and coordinate discharge needs Supervise LPNs and unlicensed assistive personnel as appropriate Complete required age-, population-, procedure-, and unit-specific competency training Important Traveler Note: Candidate must be comfortable floating between departments and nearby facility locations within 20 miles.
