ResponsibilitiesPeraton requires a Communications Planner to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. Position is located at Peterson AFB, CO.The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.Typical duties include:Analyzing and defining systems, functions, process and user needs for a wide variety of projectPerforms technical assessments aimed at improving client systems and updates system requirements based on changes in operations or policyCreating documentation such as policies, procedures, workflows and user guidesAnalyzes and performs functional allocations to identify tasks and their inter-relationships, incorporates user needs, and performs research and functional analysis on a variety of projectIdentifies and recommends resources required for task execution and completionDevelops new systems or updates existing systems to meet client needsServes as technical advisor to clients in assigned subject areas, recommends functional changes, and identifies areas for further investigationGenerates recommendations in the form of technical briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnelConsults with clients to determine optimum design for assigned projectsIdentifies emerging relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes and systemsWrites and updates project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materialsProvides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts, and may have supervisory responsibilitiesMay serve as technical team or task leadMaintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areasParticipates in special projects as requiredProvides excellent analytical solutions to problems and effectively communicates them to the customer and team.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:HS + 12 years of experience OR AS with 10 years of experience OR BS + 8 years of experience OR MS + 6 years of experience IAT Level II certification requiredAt least 4 years of related experience of intensive and progressive experience in the candidate’s field of study and specializationWorking knowledge of network and information exchange technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, RESTful, SOAP, with system engineering processes and techniquesExcellent collaboration and communication skillsDoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level is requiredHighly Desired Qualifications:Must be DoW 8140 under the Work Role Code 641 – Systems Requirements Planner - Intermediate level or higher by 1 Oct 26.#SITEC2026Peraton OverviewPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
