Registered Behavior Technician RBT - Part Time

Location & Setting: Center-based / Hybrid (In-home services), St. James, Coram, NY Schedule: Part-time, flexible Pay Rate: $23–$26 per hour Start Date: Immediate opening POSITION OVERVIEW Dragonfly Cares is seeking compassionate, reliable Behavior Technicians (BT) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to provide after-school 1:1 ABA services. You'll help children build communication, social, behavioral, and daily-living skills in a positive, engaging environment. This role is a great fit for patient, energetic people looking to make a real impact, including students, recent graduates, and those starting out in behavioral health. We provide full onboarding and training. WHAT YOU'LL DO Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy with children, following individualized plans from a supervising BCBA Collect and record behavioral data to track progress and guide treatment decisions Build strong, positive relationships with the children and their families Maintain accurate, timely documentation that meets clinical and insurance standards Participate in supervision and ongoing trainings to grow your clinical skills QUALIFICATIONS Comfortable working in both a center and an in-home setting (sessions are split roughly half center, half home) Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field (preferred, not required) Experience with children, especially those with autism or developmental delays is a plus Excellent communication, patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others Reliable transportation to the center and to clients' homes BENEFITS Competitive pay — $23–$26 per hour Flexible part-time scheduling — evenings and weekends, built to fit around school or another job Ongoing training — free monthly in-person CPI (Crisis Prevention & Intervention) training and unlimited free virtual trainings on ABA strategies and more Real support — a lead BCBA is on site at both centers every weekday, so you're never on your own Referral bonuses — earn up to $250 for each qualified referral Meaningful work — help children and families grow every single session #J-18808-Ljbffr
