Job Description
The Freight Broker Sales professional will drive business growth by targeting shippers and managing the end-to-end freight brokerage sales process. This role involves acquiring clients, coordinating with carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring seamless load management, all while utilizing a custom in-house CRM system. Minimal travel is expected, with clear advancement opportunities toward a Senior Sales Executive position.
Responsibilities
- Acquire and develop relationships with shipper clients
- Manage carrier partnerships and maintain reliable networks
- Negotiate competitive freight rates and contracts
- Coordinate load scheduling and timely delivery
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities
- Manage contracts and ensure compliance
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the shipping process
- Track orders and maintain accurate documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in freight brokerage sales
