Step into a rewarding opportunity as an Occupational Therapist serving students in the vibrant communities of Bangor and Hartford, Michigan. This contract position spans two closely located districts, only about 15 minutes apart, allowing you to make a meaningful impact across both locations. Your expertise will chiefly support K-5th grade students, along with a handful of middle schoolers, throughout the academic year from late August through early June.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Michigan
- Experience providing OT services in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to work in multiple school environments
- Ability to tailor interventions for diverse student needs
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based occupational therapy services to elementary and select middle school students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to support IEP goals
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Travel between Bangor and Hartford schools (mileage reimbursed)
