Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Austin, Texas. This role involves providing specialized care in a high-volume maternity setting within a Level IV Maternal Designation facility. The RN will support a fast-paced delivery service, with responsibilities spanning multiple labor and delivery suites, triage rooms, and mother-baby units, ensuring high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; Registered Nurse Texas license; Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics; Advanced Life Support certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross; minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery or Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service; Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in high-volume delivery services; S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification; Bachelors Degree in Nursing; Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification.
• Additional Information: The facility offers 20 Labor, Delivery, and Recovery suites, 4 Cesarean section suites, 10 Triage rooms, 51 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 14 monitored Antepartum rooms. It provides a teaching environment as well as large private obstetric practices. The high-risk, fast-paced delivery service performs over 500 deliveries monthly, with 24-hour in-house OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage. The unit is expanding in mid-2026 to a new Womens Tower.
