Packer - Night shift

Warehouse Associate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Pulls and stacks product based on daily orders.
2. Packs product in designated polybag and corrugate boxes according to company specifications
3. Verify product counts and ensure accurate quantities are packed and labeled correctly
4. Stack and organize finished goods on pallet according to approved pallet configuration
5. Keeps products separated, organized, and in good rotation.
6. Monitors product quality throughout the packing process and promptly report defects, contamination concerns or safety issues.
7. Operate various pieces of equipment such as pallet wrappers & pallet jacks
8. Report any mechanical problems.
9. Utilizes continuous-improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
10. Follows Good Manufacturing Practices and required work-safe practices.
11. Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to work efficiently and meet production deadlines.
• Minimum of six months of experience in distribution or manufacturing preferred
• Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work safely in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise and moving equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
