Your future role at a glance Location: Owasso, OK Facility: Ascension Owasso Medical Center Department/Specialty: Emergency Dept Schedule: Full Time, Evening Shift, 36 hours per week How you'll make an impact in this role Deliver Evidence-Based Care:Provide compassionate, direct nursing care that adheres meticulously to the established clinical protocols, policies, and procedures of our organization, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. Drive Care Plan Success:Take ownership of individualized patient care plans, actively implementing and continuously monitoring progress to ensure treatment goals are being met and care is personalized. Be the Clinical Watchdog:Maintain essential vigilance by monitoring, accurately recording, and promptly communicating any pertinent changes in a patient’s condition to the interdisciplinary team. Execute with Precision:Meticulously receive, document, and carry out all physician and nursing orders to guarantee the timely, safe, and effective delivery of all directed medical and therapeutic interventions. Orchestrate Holistic Care:Step into the vital role of the primary coordinator, serving as the central hub of communication to integrate all disciplines—from physicians to therapists—for a truly unified and well-coordinated patient care experience. Facilitate Safe Transitions:Lead the strategic assessment and coordination of patient\'s discharge planning needs, collaborating with the healthcare team to prepare and implement a seamless, safe, and supportive transition plan for the patient\'s next stage of recovery or care.. What minimum qualifications you\'ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
