Location Description

The Troy, Alabama plant produces peanut butter, with annual production of approximately 78 million pounds. The site supports a team of more than 130 manufacturing and support employees.

Troy is a growing community in southeast Alabama and is home to Troy University, one of the largest universities in the state. Responsibilities

About the Role

At Post Consumer Brands, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day by helping ensure the quality, safety, and integrity of products enjoyed by consumers across the country. We're looking for a Quality Supervisor, for our 1 st shift, who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys leading teams, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement.

In this role, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to ensure quality systems, food safety programs, and regulatory requirements are effectively executed while supporting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence. The Quality Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining product quality from raw ingredients through finished goods while identifying opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports our 1 st shift

  • Lead, train, coach, and schedule Quality Technicians to support quality assurance activities and reinforce quality standards for raw materials and finished products.

  • Oversee daily laboratory activities, analyses, testing programs, product holds, and related quality processes.

  • Manage product sampling, documentation, and release processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

  • Investigate quality discrepancies, identify root causes, and collaborate with plant leadership to implement corrective actions.

  • Support customer complaint investigations and facilitate communication regarding quality concerns when needed.

  • Coordinate sanitation, pest control, audit readiness, regulatory inspections, and food safety initiatives across the facility.

  • Deliver and coordinate GMP, Quality, and HACCP training programs.

  • Identify and implement improvements to quality assurance, food safety, and sanitation programs.

  • Manage quality-related supplies and support additional initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in food plant sanitation, quality assurance, or a related manufacturing quality environment.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
