SUMMARY Program Manager responsible for program leadership, execution, and customer coordination. Oversee large individual programs or multiple small programs, managing resources within budget and schedule, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver results aligned with customer needs and market opportunities. Plan, organize, and control program activity from concept through final stages of the product life cycle to optimize profit and meet growth objectives. Commitment to Company Core Values is essential. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Primary point of contact with customers, communicating schedule and other issues on an ongoing basis and acting as the voice of the customer within the organization. Partner with internal teams to provide documentation, information, and guidance on impacts of difficulties and/or delays to delivery schedules. Accountable for price, cost, inventory, quality, and delivery as it relates to assigned customer base. Track, monitor, and report program performance using program management tools. Develop and execute program presentations for internal and external customers and summary documents for leadership review. Lead multi-disciplinary teams to execute programs in accordance with quality, schedule, and cost commitments. Accurately identify customer demand for long‑term forecasting and business planning. Utilize ERP system for transactions and analysis. Manage programs with plans and objectives to ensure commitments are met by monitoring, assessing, and resolving variances in quality, schedule, and budget. Communicate status of work to appropriate parties (internal/external customers) to keep them informed and involved. Assist with development schedules and coordinate cross‑functional project plans and critical paths using project planning tools (e.g., MS Project). Communicate effectively, conveying information clearly, meaningfully, and timely while soliciting input from audiences. Resolve conflicts among stakeholders that impact successful program outcomes. Lead Integrated Product Teams responsible for all phases of program life cycle. Perform all functions while adhering to established quality policies and procedures. Uphold company core values. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, training, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining, and resolving complaints. QUALIFICATIONS Excellent attention to detail. Demonstrated management experience. Software proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD Inventor, Pro/Engineer, and web‑based applications. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Adaptable to a changing work environment and competing demands. Working knowledge of Contract Terms and Conditions (T&C), Quality Clauses, Pricing Models, etc. Analytical and problem‑solving capabilities; ability to react promptly to project adjustments and alterations. Ability to elicit cooperation from upper management, clients, and other departments. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferable) or business management. Five (5) years manufacturing industry experience. Two (2) plus years’ experience as a program manager in the aerospace industry. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers; multiply and divide numbers in the tens and hundreds. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions and to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Authorization to work in the United States. To conform to U.S. export control regulations, eligibility for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government is required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The job requires standing, walking, and hearing regularly, using hands and fingers, handling, feeling, and reaching with hands and arms, occasionally sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and smelling. Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, hot or cold work environments, chemicals, fumes or airborne particles, loud noises, risk of electrical shock, vibration, and other occupational hazards.
