Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified Hospitalist Physicians for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
This assignment offers experienced hospitalists the opportunity to join a well-established inpatient medicine program serving a regional referral hospital in West Tennessee. Physicians enjoy flexible day or night scheduling, a collaborative hospitalist team, Epic EMR, and a consistent ongoing need extending through the fall and beyond.

Schedule
Coverage Available:

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Average Need: 7–10 shifts per month
• Ongoing coverage beginning this fall

Practice Environment

Practice within a 225-bed regional medical center providing comprehensive inpatient care for communities across Northwest Tennessee. The hospitalist service is supported by a collaborative physician team, advanced practice providers, experienced nursing staff, and a broad network of medical and surgical specialists. Publicly available information describes a mature hospital medicine program with approximately 12–15 patients per physician , an open ICU , and strong specialty collaboration across cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, gastroenterology, surgery, and additional service lines.

Clinical Scope

• General adult inpatient hospital medicine
• Daily rounding and admissions
• Day or nocturnist coverage
• Respond to rapid responses and codes
• Open ICU patient management
• Central venous catheter placement
• Endotracheal intubation
• Collaborative multidisciplinary care

Please Note: Physicians must arrive fully proficient in central line placement and intubation. On-site procedural proctoring is not available .

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Tennessee Medical License
• Current inpatient hospitalist experience
• Demonstrated competency performing central lines and endotracheal intubations independently
• Comfortable practicing within an open ICU environment
